Just had a seller I bought from the other week message me this....

Hi is it ok if I do a mutual agreement saying that you returned item
for a refund so I can get fees refunded. Thanks

surely they aren't allowed to do this, should I report this to ebay?

Report them, and possibly neg them as well for trying it on.

Sellers like that are one of the reasons the fees are so [STRIKE]high[/STRIKE] reasonable.

No, they're not high.

Where else can you get global exposure, free image hosting, an easy checkout procedure, simple messaging processes, and a host of other things for a few pence (depending on the sale price) per item?
Ebid does a fantastic job of showing what paying no fees gets you in sales revenue - sod all.

Paypal I'll get my fees back from them."

I never asked for a refund, I have the item here and am very happy with it.

Sounds like they may be confusing you with another buyer :huh:

I'd send them a message saying what you bought and telling them that you're happy with it
