Hi Glam, good to see you posting again! How is your LO?
We're still on our banks variable rate which is 2.5% and with rates looking to stay the same I'm glad we didn't try to fix or change to a tracker but it was just laziness rather than a considered move. Managed to pay off £9k so far this year mainly due transferring some savings I had been holding onto but also from OH's overtime and £1k generously donated by my mum but things are not looking good going forward - we lost out on child tax credits - £850 a year and nursery fees are going up £2.5 a day in Sept and another £2.5 a day next April. However my new boss is reviewing my salary soon so maybe I will get a pay rise - fingers crossed! But then we have also just started TTC again and if I want to keep my job after my maternity leave I may have to start paying to work :eek:
