got left neg feedback for item sold, never heard from buyer just left neg saying "poor"
I was selling knitting pattern and my title stated that it was a knitting pattern for a toy anyway emailed the seller to try and get them to retract the negative feedback and give me a chance to resolve whatever the problem was.
anyway no response, only said that the feedback had been updated .... errr to the same thing lol
anyway they also then emailed in response to my request
they responded by saying that they wanted the toy and not a knitting pattern......
what can I do?
can I get the feedback removed in anyway ? have added them to blocked bidders list.
They only joined on 12/03/10 so I said to them if it was a case of misreading (although I am not really sure how you misread knitting pattern as it was mentioned in the title and in all the description, even explaining how you could knit your own toy), then it would not be a problem and I would refund them in an attempt to resolve....
so flippin cross as it has now knocked my feedback down... why dont people give you a chance to rectify before leaving negatives .....:mad:

Just reply *calmly* to the feedback to say that the buyer had misread the description.
Not point in working yourself up about it, really.
No point in hassling the buyer either, if they haven't replied to your first message, they are unlikely to.
Just reply to feedback and then chalk it up to experience. Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
Newbie buyer, not a lot you can unfortunately. As above leave factual feedback & add them to your blocked buyer list.0

Nobody really cares about newbie negs.0

A newbie leaving a neg can often harm the buyer as much as the seller. If I happened to come across a buyer who had a habit of leaving non positives I would probably block them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Have just left a reply in feedback to say the buyer wanted the toy and not the knitting pattern and attempted to resolve but they wouldn't

That's the best thing to do, if anyone reads the feedback they'll see it was all the buyer's fault for not reading properly and it won't reflect badly on you as a seller.
