Please can i have some advice i am trying to reclaim the ppi on a mint credit card i took out in 2002 which i still have. i sent a letter saying i was missold the ppi and don`t remember ticking the box for pp, i have received a letter rejecting my claim and they have sent me the original agreement which shows i ticked the payment protection, does that mean i have no chance of reclaiming???. if i still could does the payment protection wording on the agreement which was (we strongly recomend you take out the cover) an angle to reclaim the ppi as at the time i probably thought it was a good option to tick at the time not knowing what i know now?

Hi Sparky
Do not worry, they all say that and enclose copies in hope this puts you off, you still have a chance here, so if this was not the final response, write back and ask them to reconsider as you still strongly believe you were mis sold the PPI, try to give a fuller reason if you can, and if they still do not uphold in your favour, go to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS), they should actually enclose details of the FOS with the leaflet in the final response.
We all have to sign agreements, and there is still lots of success, so keep at them, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
