I had 6 lots of £6 off when you spend £60 of Sainsbury's vouchers and outside my Tesco it says we accept Sains vouchers. One girl took them on a £20 spend and another refused on a £30 spend. Depends who you get most of the time. I have been told their policy is up to 10% of your shop, so again that obviously varies by store.

Choose tills with the kids on, especially if they're chatting to the next SA, and not that bothered, as long as it scans.

I did use 2 of my £6 vouchers at the self scan tills successfully, but on the
3rd attempt, it called for the supervisor  - I panicked as was only spending about £10 and pressed the supervisor log in - the supervisor just cleared it for me thinking I'd pressed the wrong key, but won'yt be trying my remaining 2 vouchers!!

Tesco refused all my coupons today, I only had four either from the newspaper or sent through the post. The assistant reused them as I had not bought the product, wheras last week they took one of each. They make it up as they go along. Mind you the assistant today thought it was August and asked if I needed help with packing my two bottles of wine. I should have said yes.

  • Tesco are actually clarifying their coupon policy with the staff at the moment. The staff handbooks are being updated with the proper coupon policy that should be followed in all stores. However how many staff will read the new handbooks I'm not sure, again it's not really worth a row on the till. I do think that all the Tesco stores need to have the same policy, all the Express's in the South West have been told so hopefully Superstore will follow! Btw I've never had any grief in my local Superstore with any coupons whatsoever and there are some horrific stories on here by jobsworth CA's.
Hopefully it'll all be a bit easier soon! (am not going to hold my breath for too long!)
