Used SKY viewing card

If I buy a second hand SKY box with its viewing card (eg from local ads/eBay etc.), can I subscribe to SKY`s packages? If so, how do I do this, can I do it online, or do I have to speak to a SKY person? ( I have a SKY subscription for my home).
I was thinking of using the second hand box in my caravan, which has a dish attached.
I posed this question via email to SKY and received a standard unhelpful reply which did not answer any of these questions.
Any info?

You can buy sky box from ebay or so, But the viewing card has the account details for the previous subscriber meaning you would need to get your own and get it paired up with that box. Or you can just use the viewing card to get freeview channels thats not available without a card.0

a second hand box will get freesat channels without a card or you can take your home card to use in the box whilst on holiday.0

Thanks, but its a separate subscription I need. I just need a viewing card from SKY and having alreasy acquired the box, would need to pair it up. How do I do that? Is the viewing card only, available from SKY?..and can I pair it myself?0 -
Once you have the box, you phone Sky up and tell them you have a 2nd-hand box and want to subscribe, they'll ask you to go into the system info menu and give them some details, then a card will be sent out paired to that box. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

You cannot get Freeview via a Sky receiver.0
