Hi
We have a cellar currently being converted, so spent the day looking at carpets.
We need about 23 square metres of carpet, which includes the stairs down to the cellar.
We found some carpet we liked, Cresta Supreme, which is 50oz, 80/20 mix.
It worked out to be £644 all inclusive (fitting, underlay, carpet). That was with felt underlay. Carpet was £416, felt £111, fitting £97 and gripper £20.
Realise we can save maybe £40 on the underlay, by buying on the internet.
Are these prices about right?
