i bought and paid for a table from ebay on the 13th july this year, i have treid to contact the seller plenty of times but only actually recieved 2 emails from him, saying sorry that he was away for a week, and the second to give me his phone number. i have been trying to arrange a courier to pick item up but as im not hearing from him, i cant arrange and exact date.i then told him last week that if i hadnt heard from him by friday i would report to ebay, he then emailed bake saying to arrange a courier was fine, and thats it!!!! so after trtying to ring and email this week i gave him another warning on wednesday that if i hadnt heard by today(friday ) then i will definalty go ahead with reporting him.
the thing is i konw he lives in putney and i have a phone number, by brother lives just around the corner and could pick the table up, how would i go about finding his address??
its not in the info given at end of sale...............

Daft question... have you tried ringing him?My TV is broken!

oh loads of times, he doesnt have an answer machine unfortunatly, ive just done a non reciveing item dispute via paypal, but i didnt really want it to go that far, i just want the table!!0

Having said that, even if you have the address it's going to be tricky to arrange collection without his cooperation... he might be out... or the table might not be at that exact location! My TV is broken!

Just to clarify, is this a cash on collection item?

Ok, so we now know you are dealing with a muppet..taking paypal on a collection item is extremely stupid.
Firstly, his address should be showing on the paypal payment bit if you go and look. More importantly though you can do a chargeback for goods not received as early as day 7 after payment. Just don't warn the seller before you do so.
If the seller is still selling then time your chargeback for when he is likely to be receiving funds, or about to receive funds. If he isn't still selling then he may be a problem, but put a claim in anyway. if you paid by credit card then you can always fall back onto that if paypal can't recover funds.
Incidentally what's his feedback like?

ive done something similair to that thru paypal altho im not sure thats what it was called, where do i do a chargeback??
Incidentally what's his feedback like?
hes only got 3 feedback, all 100%, from sellers that have quite a few feedback themselves(over 50) i looked at that to see if was a scam, getting friends to bid and leave feedback etc, but the table only sold for £22.15, if he was going to scam, surely he would do it for more than that?? i just genuinly think hes a thick idiot who doesnt realise the turnaround of sales thru ebay!0
