I'm not a mathematician by any means but the correct answer to this is 1.
    36+36 = 72, then divide by 72 to give 1.

But then this answer isn't an option on the quiz....

Not just me searching for the right answer then! It's how it's expressed that works with Maths as you say.

ihmoody - thank you for pointing out that there is some logic in what they've set as the answer, it's like 'show your workings' on an exam :)

hi guys i was thinking about taking out a magazine subscription to get the 1000 points has anyone taken out a subscription and got their points ok?

I took out 2 magazine subscriptions and received the first 1000 points within 36 hours. The 2nd 1000 points I had to chase up but they were really quick and credited them the same day I chased them.

They were both really good deals as well.

12 month subscription to Easy Living for £12 (or £2 taking into account the piggy points)

12 month subscription to Essentials for £18.72 (or £8.72 taking into account the piggy points) plus you get Tigi products worth £22.

Yes, but you have the order of signs wrong - multiplication and division are always done before addition.

    So 2x18 (=36) and 4x9 (=36). Then, 36+36 = 72. Then divide by 72 to give 1.

Think some people need to go back to school :p

    Yeah...BODMAS ;)

Has anyone taken out subscriptions for "Success: the Richest British Asians" (annual @ £3.50 p.a.) or "The Travel and Leisure Magazine" (quarterly @ £5 p.a.) and received the 1000PP bonus? :D
