Have they said that they need more time. Do they say Final Response in the letter?:mad:0

yeah they say they need more time but how much more will be it 8 weeks seems plenty i think.0

If you felt you could it may be worth giving them a bit longer and try and sort it at bank level. TBH at the moment the waiting at the FOS can be up to 2 years. Write to them giving them another two weeks say.
Let us know how you get on:mad:0 -
brilliant thanks i better start typing then.0

Hi good luck with your reclaim, hope you hear soon with a good result.
As Maxdp says it can take a while with the FOS, so it could be worth waiting a little longer, the main of us receive the same letters to request for extra time, also due to their backlog of these complaints, so with a bit of luck it will be all worthwhile, fingers crossed.
Of course if you feel its gone on too long after say another 2-3 weeks and you still not heard, chase them up for an update by ringing them, the decide from there to move this on to the FOS etc.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
