I was told on monday that the company i work for could be closing by the end of the week and there is no money to pay my wages this month either. The boss has seen a solicitor and is either going for personal banrupcy or company liquidation (i think thats right).
This has thrown me into a complete panic, i am a sinlge mum with a bank loan, mortgage, credit cards maxed out etc.
I have been in touch with my mortgage company and credit cards to inform them i prob wont have a job as of tomorrow and no income this month and they cant do anything until i have officially been finished!
Now my problem is while this is going on and i dont know what is happening my bills etc are coming out and are due out of my account and i am now hundreds overdrawn too, is there anything i can actually do at the minute?

How long have you been with your current employer, because you may be entitled to a statutory redundancy payment.

I'm sure others will be along soon with useful advice.
