CreditExpert

I have been in a battle with CreditExpert for the last six weeks. My husband died 4 years ago this Saturday. I hadn't realised that for the past 4 years I had been paying for his credit report out of one of my credit cards as I had an account with them I thought it was mine. Begining of last month I contacted them explaining the situation I was promised a cheque for the back payments (4 years) after many more calls to them I received a cheque from them at the begining of this month I put it into my bank account only to receive a letter and cheque back from my bankers with the notification REFER TO DRAWER. I contacted them last week twice in fact, I was told that a cheque would be sorted out and sent out. I received an e-mail from their Customer Services Dept 2 days ago asking for the cheque no. etc. I sent this and have heard no more. So I contacted them again this afternoon to be told that another dept was dealing with it, I asked for a contact no. for the dept. dealing with it and the reply was sorry no they only correspond by e-mail. I can't believe that a company of their standing and reputation would even have cheques returned and more frustrating is that I'm not getting any answers.
