Ok so getting a PayDay loan is classed as fraud but putting the fees on a credit is not???
Well... in general if you take out a loan knowing full well you can't pay it back it's fraud surely. I'd be amazed if you could put the fees on a credit card.

No because with a pay day loan you are taking out new credit with no intention of paying it back. If you take money off a credit card that you already have you are using credit currently available to you!
    :AWhatever it is - I didn't do it!:A

I have heard of people putting it on to an existing card (though I would not recommend it) but never heard of someone applying for a new card to put the fees on. IMHO it is a definite no no.

    Hi

I've heard of people getting a budgeting loan or community care grant to cover bankruptcy fees. His local Parish council sometimes have funds to help parish members, failing that could he not borrow it from friends/relatives.

How much does he owe? If its less than £15k and he has assets of £300 or less and a car worth less than £1k, doesn't own his own home, doesn't have a pension pot and has less than £50 per week surplus income he may be eligible for a debt relief order which costs £90 and can be paid in instalments via pay zone.

    just a thought

Not something I'm come across myself and isn't acceptable by our local courts but may it vary from court to court. I would be very surprised if you were allowed to do that and if you did I'd imagine that the OR wouldn't be happy, same as if you were on a huge spending spree before going bankrupt, and it'd be highly likely they'd put a BRO in place.

The trouble with bankruptcy is that the experience is basically down to the OR you have. Some are more lenient that others.
