Egg Refund Problem

Hi

I have received a PPI refund from Egg of £1100 which is great. However, I used a PPI claiming company (I know I should have gone alone, but didn't have the time) and owe them a fee. The problem is at the end of last year Egg wrote to me saying I had the choice of either having my APR increased by 5% or not using the credit card and pay off the balance... I chose to stop using the card! Egg have paid my PPI refund into the credit card account, but I can't use any of it to pay the claims company fee. Could I ask Egg to move the refund to another account? Or ask them to allow a one off payment?

I am not sure on how this works when going through a claims company so hopefully someone will post up with some advice on this for you soon, fingers crossed.
Wouldn't the claim company claimed their part in their own right from the EGG perhaps, where the remaining was refunded to your account?

Wish it was that simple... No, the claims company has sent me a invoice. I'll have to ring Egg, but fear getting someone who can't help me!

Fraziola since you are paying the CCompany lots of money perhaps they can advise you. Not being funny when I say that but they are supposed to be "expert" can you ring them and ask?
Let us know what they say.
