HBOS Bank Charges

I sent a financial hardship new template letter to them after they got back to me telling me about the court ruling. So far they have sent me two letter sayig they are investigating . I fully expected a no chance letter back. Do you think they are stalling for time or will i maybe get something back from them ?

I can live in hope i suppose

Who knows if you'll get a free coconut? Depending on circumstances, it might just end up being tea & sympathy.
Even if the bank has accepted your word that you’re in financial difficulties or does after you’ve sent in the financial statement form, this doesn’t mean it has to give you your money back, just that it has to treat you sympathetically.

Did you send evidence of financial hardship?
Did you send an income and expenditure form to them?

Come on Premier, let's be nice and ask for more info before we shut the door in someone's face ;)

Sorry I didn't mean to be shutting any doors in anyones face.:o

We don't know the details and so couldn't even try second guessing how the bank will respond.
As I said, there may be a free coconut (a refund of charges) or there may just be tea & sympathy (without the tea).

£150 of charges does not constitute financial hardship I'm afraid. You'll need to provide them with more evidence. HBOS used to limit their charges to three charges for each type of unauthorised borrowing each day. And the new charges can add up to £155 per month. Have a read of NatwestStaffMember's signature to see if you qualify for hardship.
