Peugeot Passport finance

Hi,
we are thinking of getting a Peugeot under the Passport deal. I was just wondering if anyone on here used this scheme and if they find it ok? Is 7.9% a good deal compared to other makes?

Also, one question regarding the final payment. I've read somewhere on the Peugeot site that if you want to keep the car at the end of the scheme you pay a final payment and then continue with a monthly lease payment - so not really owning the car. The salesman at the dealership says, no, once you've paid the final payment you actually own the car. Is that right.. I don't seem to be able to find the terms and conditions online.

thanks.
