It is a long shot, but, if you and the seller bank with the same bank, you can transfer the money immediately either by internet or telephone banking. If different banks, it can take 2 hours to clear. Check with the seller who they bank with (and state why would you want to know) and check with your bank how long will it take on a Saturday.

A bankers draft is for an exact amount of money though isnt it? You will surely do a bit of haggling - or OH will?

What are the car details so that those in the know on here can say whether the price sounds good?
