yellowing is usually caused by either the lack of sunlight, heavy exposure to sunlight. moisture, heat or additives in the paint. id suggest stripping it down to bare wood, getting a good quality primer and good quality gloss and start again0

I have noticed to my annoyance that white gloss paint ( the non drip kind ) seems to go yellow much quicker than it used to. I have switched to using eggshell finish and it seems to stay whiter longer0

I believe there are white paints you can buy now which guarantee not to go yellow. I think Dulux do one and I'm sure B&Q do too!0

it could be knots or resin seeping thru paintwork , best to strip back to bare wood , treat knots with knotting solution and prime , u/c and gloss .
paintwork can also yellow with sunlight , use water based paints as they are less likely to do this , also they do not go brittle like solvent based paints
hope this helps0
