    Morning,
Heard from my friends' sister this morning again-she is still in a coma (induced) and they arent sure if they are going to wake her up today or not. She has had a scan and they think there arent any head injuries but there might be a broken bone at the top of her spine. They are going to operate on her eyelid today, it is very badly injured. She has a broken shoulder as well.

    .

That sounds good to me Bun. They've got control of the situation by having her in a coma, they don't think she's got head injuries and they are aware of a break in the bone at the top of the spine. Presuming they got her out okay they sound in control of the situation. I hope they do really good work on her eyelid.

Worrying for you I know but lots of grounds for optimism.

Thanks Butti-I am keeping my positive head on-not heard anything since 10 when her sister text me to say they were on the way to the hospital.

Feel so helpless, would like to be able to help in some way...

Time always seems to go by so slowly while you're waiting for news doesn't it?

    Hope it's positive.

Even if you can't do anything for your friend could you offer to do anything to help out her relatives that are visiting - babysit or anything like that?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

I have asked Linda-they havent got any kids that need looking after-small family. Her Mom, Dad and sister are all at the hospital.

Maz - I am loving Married Single Other but its going to get sadder!!

I know Billie! i was in floods watching episode 4 last night... looking forward to the wedding....

Sal - i agree, Ralph Little is suddenly yum! altho a bit skinny for my tastes generally.... Dean Lennox Kelly, or even t'other bloke are more my thing...!

Of course i am holding out now for a GM, thought it worth an update on things as i dont have a diary anymore...

Basically all my scandals have gone quiet and i am waiting patiently for GM to come home so we can see if we can make things work when he gets back, which is brill..... but the trouble is, we are only mildly communicating just now, the odd text (working out 1 text from him for every 3 i send at the moment, so im stopping with the opening text each day... as it's too frustrating not getting an answer)

no lovey doves, as lets face it we're not currently together, we've just kinda agreed we'll revisit when we get back. It feels like a major case of no mans land at the moment...

and i am bored bored bored.... mainly cause i have knocked any communications of a mildly flirtatious nature on the head, i.e. Bouncerman and another guy i was contemplating meeting, but he was also highly unavailable and unsuitable so never crossed that line... thankfully...

now it's all gone quiet, i'm bored.... did i say bored already?! lol!!

but at least i know i will see GM in 2 weeks and we will see how it shapes up... i just wish things were more exciting, flirty sexty/texty in the meantime... but i can see why we are keeping it in check as i for one dont want to crash n burn like i did before he left last time...
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Just had a text:
They are going to wake her up this afternoon-nothing life threatening but they will keep her in ICU for another day or so. Needs her arm looking at again and has had more stitches on her eye and mouth.

So all good news really. Thank you all for your support x
