Gemmzie, pub and very occasionally clubs. Problem is most of my clothes are hippy style so I need something that's a bit more rock chick.

Bunny, I prefer dresses, but I'm thinking more trousers/skirt and a glam top. Not sure what I could carry off though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Why don't you try one of the bigger department stores like Debenhams? I'm sure they have "personal shoppers" who are supposed to find stuff that suits you - no need to actually buy though..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

:j:j:jLuc, keep an eye on Argos and places, we got our three room tent for (I think) £60 a couple of years ago, dad got it for us when it was in one of their emails about offers. Do you have other equipment?
Thanks Ames. We've got a couple gas stoves, pans, dishes, water carrier and tons of other gubbins. Just need to upgrade the tent to fit Nathan in and get him something to sleep in...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Ames,
I personally think you can never go wrong with a nice pair of black trousers, I would go to somewhere like Next or M&S or Debenhams and try on a few pairs-they can be worn with so many things. A good quality pair will last you for YEARS.
I would then go and try on a few tops-I am looking on Simply B and they do some lovely bat wing style tops that look trendy but are also comfortable and flattering. Team a plain coloured top with a jazzy necklace and you have an outfit you could change to suit different outings. You could wear with black boots or flat shoes as wellEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Just got back from the homeless centre I was volunteering at, we made a pork casserole. My hands stink of leeks and garlic but I really enjoyed it, I haven't done any volunteering for a while. And even better, the woman I was working with is going to help me with the application form for the job I want tomorrow morning. Am  but also :j. This is the job I'm going for.
