  • Fingers crossed for you with the job interview and of course, goes without saying, well done for getting through the exams. With everything that's been on your plate I think you've been outstanding.

I hope you are off doing something restful right now.

min, i've got everything crossed for the job interview, that'd be fantastic news. dont worry about the pay, it's always easier to get a better job when you have one to start off with, and like you say it's security that matters most just now. xxx

Thank you. What a lovely thing to say.

Well, Jeff's back and I was watching him sleep. Compulsive site - go see!

But not too restful. Probate is now only a couple of weeks from being settled (I just need to go and swear now. I'm good at that! :rotfl:). But we're now on sending back passports and re-registering vehicles. This whole business is a lot more complex than it appears at first sight and it seems never ending. I'm so glad my exams are out of the way at least.

Better go. Forms to fill in. Letters to draft.

It's beating like whisk at the mercy of Delia.

I'm going to go and find that cat! He must leave his mat at some point, surely?

  • As promised, I'm celebrating the start of 2007 tonight.

January was sh*te for a lot of people. Reading through the boards it's apparent that many of us had a bad start to the year. In my own case, it was a mixture of sad, shocking, stressful and very low in money. I won't harp on about all the stuff that's happened. You lot, for the most part, don't know the half of it. And I'm not going to bore you all now.

It's still sad and very worrying. There's a long long way to go. But every day is a new day and tomorrow is a new month and the START of 2007 as far as I'm concerned.

So happy new year to all nerds and Jeff. Good luck to all.

I'm not making resolutions for the whole year, by the way. Anything could happen to throw a spanner in the works. I'll be doing them month by month.

February's resolution - get back to the gym!
