Darling, after not going to the gym for over a month, I certainly have the belly for darts!

  • No sign of Jeff, so I popped by to give an update.

The exams are over. For now. No more until June - but obviously, the work doesn't stop and I still have to wait for my results. If I pass, all well and good (and I was lucky enough to have a few absolute blinders of questions which I would describe as heaven-sent if the place existed). If I fail, re-sits in June which, of course, I will take. I'm too close to give up at this stage and so far, so very good.

I should be leaping around the room at having finished my exams but I. Don't. Have. The. Energy. I've just got back from a visit to the relly for more sorting out. Worn out from that. But, we're slowly getting there.

Nice letter waiting for me on arrival back at Spender Towers too. I have an interview for a permanent job later on this week. Poor pay, but when I think of the benefits of having a permanent job, I really don't mind. Paid hols without having to accrue them, pension scheme, paid bank holidays, no worries after a few weeks that I have to start looking for work yet again... fingers crossed for me, please.

That's it for now. I'm still going to be curtailing my time on here for a while (say until June!) but I'll pop in a bit more now that one hurdle has been jumped.

I'm so glad the exams are behind you for now minnie, that must be a relief! And the chance of the security of a permanent job, sounds like just what you need. Hopefully you'll have a bit of respite from the exhaustion and have a little bit of time for this place!
