Dooyoo are they reliable?

Options
I am thinking about signing up to Dooyoo to boost my income. However I have read mixed reviews on this forum about the reliability of them paying out. A few people have complained that their accounts have been closed before they could withdraw their cash. Could people please let me know their experiences of Dooyoo, good and bad, as I don't fancy writing loads of reviews for nothing.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.

  • I have heard a lot of good things about dooyoo.
As far as I understand, if you write a good solid review in your own words you will get paid.

I think they don't pay for reviews that are of a low standard or copied from elsewhere.

I've recieved over £120 from Dooyoo now, so long as you stick to their rules they are fantastic - just make sure you only open one account, and most importantly read every review you rate thoroughly, otherwise you will be blocked for speed clicking. Don't expect to get many rates if you do not rate back, but it's easy to do and a friendly community.

Each review must be over 150 words, but so long as you state if a review is also on another site it can be used.

Thanks for this its beena great help. Just to clarify your last point 'if a review is also on another site'. What does this mean does this mean that a review you have written is on another review site or does it mean a review somebody else has written about for the same product?

    Sorry for being dumb:o

I think it means that you need to write that it's on other sites if you wrote both and you've posted both on DooYoo and Ciao for example.

I think DooYoo's great. I've been paid out £80 in Amazon vouchers and now I'm about £9 off a £50 cheque. I think the cheques are quite slow to arrive, but the Amazon vouchers are fairly quick, about a week I think.

I've literally just signed up to this and it's really easy to make the points, as you seem to get 500 for every review over 150 words. My points are still pending as I assume they will have to be checked by dooyoo to make sure, but I've done 5 reviews and I have 2755 points already.
From what I can gather you need to write 40 reviews to get to 20,000 points for the Amazon voucher and 100 reviews to get 50,000. I think it should be fairly easy to get to that as you get also get points when others rate you (not sure if you get points for rating them though)
I'm going to give it a serious go, also doing slice the pie and a few survey sites, have messed about in the past, but I want to see what I can make extra :D

I've been a Dooyoo and Ciao member since 2002 and have made some good extra money out of both sites, probably close to £2000 if I were to add it all up.

Both sites pay within stated timescales and if they don't they will let you know.

If an accounts been closed then it's for a good reason, normally either copying reviews that you didn't write, speed clicking rates as already mentioned and using multiple accounts to increase your income by rating yourself.

As long as you have a little time, it doesn't even take much and stick to their rules and regulations then there is no reason why you can't earn a nice little wedge of extra income from the sites. Obviously the more thorough and indepth your reviews are and the more participation you have onsite will also increase your earnings

Hope thats helpful but if you want to know anything else about either site let me know as I've been a guide on both :D

Is there a maximum number of reviews you can write each day?

I have in my head that you can only write 5 a day so it would take 20 days to get the 100 but I have no idea where I read that! :o

No. You can write as many as you like. Keep the quality though, or you'll be known as a churner!!

You can only write 5 reviews a day during your first month as a member of DooYoo, but once the blue 'new member' stripe's gone from under your picture, you can write as many as you want.

I have also just joined up with DooYoo. Seems quite good so far, have done a couple of reviews.

Quick question though - do you get points for people's ratings on your own reviews? Cos I've had 3 'useful' ratings and I appear to have acquired an extra 45 points!

Is quite fun so far, am enjoying it! :D
