wireless connection problems please help

ive got a linksys cable router which is supposed to run my main pc and 2 laptops but the main pc seems to have problems connecting all the laptops are wireless and the main pc is wireless too they only run at 11mbps but should be running at 50 plus if anyone could explain in plain old english to me as i have problems turning the damn things on lol thanks in advance diane xxxx:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

    are they all rated as 802.11b or g (54)or a mixture? Is your router set to run using g&b, or just b (11)

    How do you know what speed they are running at?
