my washer broke 2 weeks ago and im expecting my new one being delivered this afternoon.
our old one had cold and hot water feeds and my DH says the new one is just cold water feed, so what do we do about the hot tap that comes out the wall? how do we seal it off?
many thanks
charlotte

It should have a little red lever tap on it, just turn it off and forget about it.0

Or,
if it wont turn off or has no tap, you can put a 10p coin behind the washer of the old hot water hose and screw it back onto the fitting.
That will seal it off untill you can get a proper cap.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
Just an example of what you need, cap and washer, could be cheaper at a local plumbing supplier.
