I have tried to pay my ebay fees by paypal & have had the following message "
Excessive Payment Amount
This amount exceeds the payment limits on the account"
I am a bit confused as I am paypal verified & up to date cards on my eBay account, has anyone seen this before??

I've never seen that before, but at the moment it seems there are some very odd things going on with ebay and paypal. I think they are 'improving' the system which means we should all panic.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It might be because you've already made payments to them recently? It's a cross between eBay and Paypal nonsense rule. This link has something about it:

Thanks for the link.
That seems to explain a lot, I canot believe this, eBay are normally grabbing out for money. :mad:0 -
I know! It's a belter innit!! I usually pay my eBay fees off in full before every withdrawal from my Paypal account - so I know all the money left is mine! But no doubt I'll fall foul of this rule soon then too.....0

Have you lifted all of your paypal limits? Even when your verified you need to manually remove some limits

This message has now cleared after 24 hours. So in a nutshell ebay will not accept more than 3 fee payments in 24 hours, not sure why but at least I know for future reference.0
