tesco points and air miles

I just swapped all my points for air miles

was this a good idea? I have never used air miles before and have no clue how one would go about it either?!

truth is we are emmigrating and i want to use points up before we fly......

Useful ! Add those to my Lloyds Duo card and it might be another cheap holiday this year. Is it a point per mile ?

£2.50 worth of points gets you 60 miles

I've got flights to London booked for easter using this, BMI not BA thank goodnes. I still can't believe the 4 of us can get returns to London for what feels like nothing.

I swapped it as well and booked a flight for my brother's wedding in July. BA tickets would have cost me around £200 each, with tesco points I got them for free.

I have been planning to do same but it may take about 2years to get enough for my family to go on a free trip with the airmiles. So,I am wondering if they do expire if one doesn't use them within a certain period? Also have some from Lloyds...

I keep clicking the Thanks instead of the Quote buttton.

Airmiles introduced a new condition last year whereby they treat an account as dormant if it's not added to after a certain period and you lose the miles. I didn't pay a great deal of attention to it as I add miles most months from a credit card so best to check out full details on their site.

Are the LLoyds ones the 1500 miles for opening an account? If yes, it is in the form of a voucher with Airmiles and does have an expiry date. Check your Airmiles account.

I think you have to be a member of BA Executive Club to have a BA Miles account. Used to be you had to have taken a fully flexible priced flight before qualifying though it might have changed.
