Help me .I,m scratching myself to death,from ivy.

About 3 weeks ago I started to pull down my shed which was covered in ivy,now a week later I am covered in rashes and blisters over much of my body,A tube of perscription cream only lasted 3 days,and the initial rashes that started last week are starting to show minute ,multiple blisters and every new day brings a new rash elsewhere on my body.Has anyone else suffered this, and how long will it last,and what are the best remedies?[I am using calomine lotion,piriton at the moment]

Ahh it is horrible that rash. I used to get some sort of weal from trimming Ivy, or spots like nettle stings. I used pure lavender oil, neat. I only reacted for a day or so at most.
Think Piriton sounds a good idea. See your gp if it does not go, you might need something prescribed. Hope it heals soon, whatever you do.:)

oooh nasty.. one site suggests baking soda in the bath.. cant do any harm??

oh, my mum had this - red rash, swollen arms, itchy - it went on for weeks - I think (IIRC) that in the end after antihistamines did not work, the doctor prescribed her a short course of steroids...

I too had this, was given steroids to take alongside Anti-Histamines. Get yersen down the GP.
