Cheap sheds?
Hi everyone,
I got an allotment back in November, which is taking a while to get into shape. As part of getting it up and running and being able to spend days at a time down there I want to get a little shed. I'm only allowed a 6x4 due to regs and as a debt free wannabe and a frugal person I want to get the best price possible. I've found some reasonable sheds (solid wood floor not chipboard etc) for £170 ish but would love to obtain one for under the £100 mark. Is this possible? Would be happy to go second hand if it is within reasonable picking up distance but have had little luck with googling second hand sheds, under friday ad, pre loved, gumtree etc.
Please can anyone help?

B&Q and Homebase sometimes have them in their clearance, usually flat packed and on a trolley somewhere around the gardening bit of the shop. Bit of a long shot!
Or you could try freecycle, again a long shot.0 -
Thank you. I have looked in Homebase and B&Q but I think with the ever increasing popularity of allotments all of the little ecomony sheds get snapped up really quickly! Will have a look on freecycle though, thank you![STRIKE]Saving for a deposit on a flat[/STRIKE]

we got ours from freecycle, bu the time i had picked it up, taken it apart, repaired a few of the rotten bits, put it back together, given it 3 coats of stain done another repair
i should have purchased a cheap shed instead
B&Q have them for 109 , they are 6 X 4 and are nice enough, give them a few coats of preservative / stain every year and they will last you 10 + years0 -
Thanks, I will give it a go. Must have been a bit frustrating spending money on the rotten bits of the shed! But quite theraputic fixing it I imagine?[STRIKE]Saving for a deposit on a flat[/STRIKE]

Its probably not big enough, but the Keter store all is on offer again at homebase around 79.99. I have one of these in the garden to store all the bikes and scooters, but it would easily take gardening stuff. Im thinking of getting another one just to store pots etc as the shed is full.0

This is the £109 one from B & Q, buy it by the end of closure tomorrow and you will get 20% off ( its 20% off instore/online anything over £50) I have bought a plastic one as am rubbish at maintaining wooden ones. In fact its a pity I am so far away as I have a 6 -4 pent shed and a 6x8 shed that I am about to put on Freecycle. ( I'm a couple of hundred miles from you)0
