Incident with First Transpenine

Hi,
I would appreciate some advice ona matter I had with First Transpenine conductor this evening. I recently received a Visa Electron card with an account I opened with Abbey because due to my struggles with bank charges, I could not get visa with nationwide.
All fine till now. Problem I encountered today was that you cannot use Electron on the trains - oh dear. I tried to use this card when the fare conductor came down to collect tickets and was told that 'we don't accept those...' I said I would get off at the next station to get cash and that is where the problem begins.
I had already heard the conductor speak to someone sitting in the 1st class carriage with a standard ticket like !!!!, and he came the same attitude with me, basically calling me a fare evader. There was not even an intimation there, he said it outright and 'demanded' my details, including bank details on my card.
I told him to f. right off - if he thought I was giving a name and address complete with personal details on my card he must have thought I was born yesterday, and that there is limitations on this. The guy snatched the card off me and wrote my account number down. Quite what he wants to do with it is another matter as the banks ont discuss account details with someone, but the matter is I want this guy taken over the coals.
I find it frankly disgraceful that a person in ostensibly a customer service role can ride roughshod over the respect for those using the service. Whilst I understand we must all bend over backwards to serve these semi-deities out to protect the revenue of a private company for what is a public service, I draw the line at being called a thief.

Buy a ticket at the station next time and you should also be fined and banned off the trains for swearing at the Conductor. They shouldn't have to put up with abuse from the likes of you.0

Of course - absolutely clever clogs whatever you say.
But for those of us who actually pay their wages and were'nt born with a sanctimonious yellow streak down our back, and, who are on the last minute and are not sure whether the ticket office is open anyways we might actually use our spine a bit more.
I bow down to your genius and evident intelligence. Have you ever considered a career in Chinese government? Just dont let the door hit you on the !!! on the way out.0
