Whats this got to do with a credit card exaclty? Its know many of these scams go through PayPal. No 1 always send to confirmed address when using PayPal and secondly always send mobiles to a UK destination and i wouldnt !!!! any itmes overseas to have a greater chance of some sort of protection.

Also credit cards with PayPal are good if you ever get conned or ripped off as you can get the money back quite easily. Not so easy with debit cards as its actually YOUR'E money that have taken.

    So, here's a good one.

You make an ebay purchase funded by your paypal credit card and the goods are faulty/not as described etc. You then try to do a chargeback but the seller has already emptied his account. payapl then realises it is only going to lose money itself by proceeding with the chargeback.

It is at this time it will probably tell you that it is a financial transaction and not a purchase and therefore you are not covered to do a chargeback.

paypal are lazy, inept and money grabbing as it is, why on earth would you want to give them an opportunity to fleece you on your credit card as well?
