Hello,
does anyone know if there are free methods to access basic data information for UK LTD companies?
The free official service at companieshouse.gov.uk only gives access to company address, number and few dates.
I am also interested in director(s)/secretary names (at least last ones, but if possible also previous history).
Any suggestion?

It only costs £1 to get this information from Companies House. I don't think you'd get it cheaper than that elsewhere.0

well,
I am asking if there is any free method, as I might want to do a number of checks and 1 pound each builds up.0 -
Not sure if this helps http://www.businesszone.co.uk/resources/icc/dir_search.htmlKind Regards

Ultimately, the data you are after is only retained by companies house so any other company is likely to source it from them anyway.
I need to do company checks several times a day (due to nature of my trade) and I've not come across anywhere that does this for free (except the free info such as name and address).
No-one gives anything away (the good stuff that is) for free anymore. The royal mail website will only allow you to search for 15 postcode/addresses and yell.com limit the number of telephone searches you can do before it costs. They all offer paid for services that allow many more searches, just like the links in this thread for company details. Free trials and free samples - although if you intend to do a lot then paying a subscription may be the way forwards.
Lets face it, who is going to maintain a massive, online database containing 100GB+ of PDF/scanned documents of private information which requires monthly updates to retain accuracy and then allow anyone to access it all for free?.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0
