Hi

Last year I went to New York and had a fairfx card which I obviously put dollars on...I'm going to Dublin on 25 March...do I need a seperate euro card?..if so probably too late to apply

    You can use your $$ card in Dublin - no problem at all.

    Fairfx will make an exchange rate charge though. Don't know what it is, but it will be cheaper than cashing in your card for ££ and changing them.

    haven't got any money on the card at the mo...used it all up in new york! was going to get some euros put on...but realised it was a dollar card

    oh see what you mean..I think...put dollars on it and exchange it...not a good day lol

    Nooo - don't add dollars to it (that will cost) - but use up those already there.

    For new money at this stage you might as well just change cash or use your debit card.
