I have been invited by ebay to become a power seller. Are there many benefits to being a power seller.

not much to be truthful:D beware though there have been some spoofs going about inviting people to do this but they want details ect via a clickable link, check in my messages to see if its genuine

cookiemonster...my invite to be a power seller never showed in my messages I thought it was a spoof so I sent it to ebay and also sent a contact email explaining. They finally confirmed I was invited but never agreed that the original email was genuine. I complained again that this went against their policy of never following links in emails, and they just said I could have just tried logging in as a power seller and found out that way.

To the OP, I haven't really found any benefit. My sales increased a bit but I think that was co incidental as I had just restocked my shop with a new line at the time. I have found one small disadvantage and that is that I have had one person insist on a refund as they changed their mind and believed as a powerseller I was obliged to accept all returns without fuss!

Oh, and it is easy to report other users and get some notice taken as you have a different reporting queue. It does seem to work as well when you report a genuine breach.

Thanks for that advice. It was a genuine email, came through with my name and also in my messages. Probably will not bother at the moment. I think the invitation is only open for a short period of time.
