distance selling rights do they apply for replacements (if the replacement is diff)

I got a replacement TV from dixons because mine broke. I paid more for it, however i dont think it is as good as it was made out to be. (it is LED) SD content is not very good at all on it.

it came last thursday so 7 days is up tomorrow. Am i covered to send it back saying i dont want it? it looks nothing like it should for the price and is not anywhere near as good picture as the plasma we had before this which was half the price.

You have 7 WORKING days, beginning with the day AFTER receipt of goods, in which to inform them that you want to return, not to actually return.

If it was a replacement then I doubt DSR will apply, but if by saying, " I paid more for it", you mean a refund then repurchase then yes they will apply, a bit more info re this would help.
