Hi WelshLad, as the £60.00 fee for a certificate of discharge is a court fee then you can apply for remission the same way as all court fees. You can qualify if you are on a low income or have a low disposable income.

I did this for a friend late last year, it was accepted by Lloyds, NPower and a catalogue (I dont remember their name).
You shouldnt have a problem, we phoned the OR and spoke to the person who was named as the reference, she must have sent the letter out the next day as he received in two days. Just photocopied it and sent it to all the creditors with a covering letter.====0
