help with projector and laptop

im after some help from people who know a lot more than me please. my church has recently come into the 21st century and has started to use powerpoint in our worships the problem is we have been borrowing a laptop and a projector but now we are unable to therefore it has been agreed that we will invest in a portable projector and a laptop so we can continue to use modern technology:beer: the problem is we have limited funds and i have been given the task of finding out about what is avaliable:eek:.
i have no idea where 2 start
all i know is that we need powerpoint
therefore i was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction. we have a budget of a maximum of £2000. i am hoping someone might be able to give me some advice of where to start looking or if you have experice of good products that you think might help us.

What type of powerpoint were you looking for? by that, I mean was it the office 97, office 2000 or office 2003 version you were using?

these kind of presentation remote control certainly make any presentation seem better than clicking on the spacebar all the time!.

Regards the projector, you need to be aware of the bulb life. These are usually guaranteed for 90 days after purchase so consider the cost of a replacement in your purchase plan.
You also need to note the contrast ratio - the greater this value the more likely the projection will be visible in daylight.
Budget for a replacement bulb and a hard-case to store the projector.
That should be feasible from £2000.0
