Energy Performance Certficate

Hi,

I bought a property couple of months ago and done some improvement work on it.

I will need Energy Performance & Gas safety certificate before I rent the property out.

Now my solicitor had Energy Performance Cert when the propery was sold to me. If I contact my solictor and obtain a copy of it - will that be accepted?

    I dont think solicitor will give me the original so the copy will be acceptable?

    I'm sure they'll give you the whole pack if you ask for it. After all, it is yours for your property.

    If not, a copy will suffice. LAs can request a new colour one with the reference number I believe so they could get that from the copy.
