Help- I'm looking for an all inclusive trip to Turkey for 4 for under £1,500

Hi,
I'm looking for an all inclusive holiday in Turkey for four for under £1500.
It's for myself, my other half and our two 'children' aged 16 and 18.
My friend has recommended Turkey because it doesn't have the dreaded Euro thus is slightly cheaper than Spain et. al.
I'd like to go at the beginning of September as the school term will have started and hopefully the price will be a bit chepaer.
I've had a look at www.a1travel.com , recommended by my friend, and it's coming up at about £1200 but I will not be covered under the package travel regulations.
Can anyone recommened another firm where I will be covered?

Thanks
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

You could try checking out any of the High Street Tour Operators, not sure how many will class your children as such though.

    I don't think any will.
Funny how they are adults at the age of 12 in the eyes of the travel industry!
Can you suggest any tour operator websites?

First Choice, Thomson, Portland (direct sell arm of Thomson), Thomas Cook for starters.

When you have found something you fancy pop it in the Beat My Quote thread at the top of this page and see if anyone can find it cheaper for you.

You could do "self package" which would save you a fortune + completely protect your holiday for £5 per person with http://protectmyholiday.com/default.aspx

You must make seperate flight + hotel bookings ie not through the same agent or tour opp.

The reviews of the hotel mentioned by budgetflyer do seem to leave quite a bit to be desired

I was pointing out the costs of protecting a "self package holiday" not advising on a good one. That was the "cheapest AI" probably similar to A1travel quoted

Personally Id go SC or B+B.

We stayed in a basic 2/3* (Marmaris Beach Hotel ) a few years back for £14 B+B for the week (Yes £1 pp per night !) Eating out + drinking where we wanted

    Yeah i understand

But as I said before getting anything 1200 or under in Turkey AI will be horrid

I always advise customers that if they are gonna go cheap AI in Turkey just expect to be living on chips for the week

I tend to advise alot of customers especially familys to stay at the Majesty Tuana in Fethiye, cracking hotel.

    But its not like 300pp

The OP party will all be adults no way children ages aint gonna apply, if they want anything decent it will probs be more like 400+ per person

This would give them the piece of mind that they are not gonna have to put there hand in there pocket for food whilst away due to the food being awful

    Del
