I dont know why but this really irritates me, sorry for being pernickity. I noticed the website header has some strange 4 leaved things inside the letter Os of money saving expert.com, yet they actually got a shamrock on the pot of gold.
A shamrock has 3 leaves, Irish folklore has it that it was used to teach the holy trinity. If you find a 4 leaved clover on your lawn though, now thats lucky. My grandma had a patch of clover and some had 7 or 8 leaves on them.

Perhaps its for luck of the Irish? lol.
You are right about the shamrock and the use of it to illustrate the holy trinity tho.
Just as a strange note, I have a cousin who has a spooky talent for finding four leaf clovers. She sometimes stops the car as she "senses" one at the roadside, very odd.
