I bought a 32" lCD TV From Ebuyer August last year it developed a fault so it was sent back to them they returned the tv a week later only for the fault to have not been entirely fixed again it was returned to them.
I received an email today stating that they will send a replacement TV because the fault cannot be fixed, another email to say they no longer have that particular Tv.
I phoned them and discussed a replacement Tv but when I asked does the 12 mths warrenty kick in again with a new Tv I was told that I just got the remainder warrenty on what was left of the Tv I had returned to them,That I am not happy with and this is where the problems start. I asked for my money back opposed to another TV and was told that they can only give a proportion of the money back which I paid because I have had the priveledge of owning the Tv for 8 months ???? Can they do this??? Please advise.

That seems to be standard practice across the industry.0 -
Yes they are perfectly entitled to give you a partial refund if a refund is what you want. Don't forget you've had a good 8 months usage out of the TV until the fault arose so they are allowed to take that into consideration.0
