Hi
Within the next 2 weeks we should be receiving our tax form for the year 2009-2010 figures to the tax office.
Husband figure was £6,000.00 ( recession yet again )
WFTC figure stated for 2009-2010 was £13,500.00
Can somebody please please ( begging here ) let me know if the WFTC pay out the difference to us as an underpayment.
I am so confused and like a lot of people struggling with the money we are currently receiving.
Many thanks

The Tax Credit Office (TCO) will pay out the difference as a lump sum when they get your annual declaration. Make sure if your husband is using estimated profit figures that he over estimates rather than under estimates. This will avoid you ending up with an overpayment at the end of the 2010/2011 tax year. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
