flights to bulgaria

Does anyone know of an airline that flies non stop to Sofia in Bulgaria? We are looking to buy a skiing holiday home and for buy-to-let so we need it to be accessible!
I've looked on a few of the Screenscraper websites but they keep coming up with indirect flights, I would be surprised if no airline did it!!!
Thanks, Helen

British Airways fly direct from Heathrow and Gatwick, Bulgaria Air fly from Manchester and Gatwick and Wizzair (no frills airline) fly from Luton but you have to change at Budapest.

i go once a year to sofia - normally fly lufansa.

however, last year the prices where high - so i booked a fligh and hotel combo to sunny beach for £120 quid.
Hired a car on arrival and drove to Sofia (3.5 half hours there - 4 coming back).
Roads arent great, but they get better nearer Sofia.

One thing you must do if u drive in SOfia - find a secure or very public car park. Makes sure u dont park a new or nearly new car in a secluded place.

Also - avoid the police, even more than the prostitutes which line up along the motorways. My friend swears by their corruption all over the place, and do not neccessarily stop if you see a lada with flashing blue lights approach you.
Give it a minute or so and see if they persist. If so, it will probably be genuine and u will only make an angry corrupt cop alittle more angry.
    Fraudsters will give up.
This occurs mainly on the road between Stara Zagora and Plovdiv.
Take time to visit Plovdiv - its a great city.
