Am I being a bit thick?
You ran up an energy bill of £2000 over 5 years, energy which you would have had to pay for even with a prepay meter?
So why didn't you pay Scottish Power what you would have had to feed the prepay with anyway?
What sins? How can they be put on a prepay meter?
  • I've had nothing but good service from scottishpower. Most energy companies are a pain in the bum to deal with but at least with scottish power when you phone them up you get a call centre in the UK. Usually in scotland! I don't think you can realistically blame scottish power for allowing you to run up a £2k bill - you're the one who used £2k's worth of electricity after all.

I had a lot of trouble with Scottish Power, the insisted on sending a meter reader round to read a meter in my flat when in fact it is outside at the back!

Took them 2 years to actually realise this and turn the estimated bill into a real one.

Aside from that its been fine.
