I used EssensialPIM for a while.
There's also Sunbird but last time I checked it out it was in early stages so I don't know what it's like now.

Personally, I use Microsoft Outlook. It's got all that you want, plus, when I plug in my mobile, it synchronises all my appointments, contacts, notes etc. automatically.0

Thanks, they all look a bit complicated..I just want a basic calendar where I can click and enter appointments and then have them on the desktop every day..we used to have one but since we installed windows xp we don't..Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0

MS Outlook can be really easy to use, all you have to do is load it, click on the calendar down bottom left and you're presented with a calendar that can show just today (by hour), the 5 day working week, 7 day week or the whole month. To add a new appointment, just double click on the day (or the specific time, if you're in today mode) and type in what you want. When you save it, the first line will show on the main calendar and you can view it by double clicking again. You can get it to give you a reminder just by ticking a box.
Honest, it's really easy to use.0 -
