taking toys to the bed, and being tired and a bit mopey, and off food are all often signs of a phantom pregnancy - she may also try and take other items (socks etc) to her bed - its best to discourage this, and to try and distract her, but do be aware that she may become quite protective of the things she hoards - best to tell the kids not to try and remove things from her!

OK, thank you very much. I have seen her with socks and things too. Never crossed my mind, just that all these weird things seem to be happening at once.

The other day she was sitting beside me on the sofa as usual but was just trembling and then stopping, then trembling and stopping. She went off her food for 3 days around this time and I went and bought canned puppy meat instead as I knew she would eat this - even so she did not eat a huge amount but something was better than nothing.

Oh, and she messed on the floor 3 times last week - which she has not done since she was 5 months old.

She usually is wanting to play around this time of day but she is just lying on her bed snoring. I'll keep an eye on her, thanks. She seems too young
