First of all.. zone 7b? sorry I have no idea where you are using this.. where do you get this info from please?
I am in the West Midlands and have put some "tests" out 1 week ago.. just to see if there was any frost left in the air.. apparently I have been told there is more cold frost heading into the UK end of the month..
so not sure what to put out yet.. everything is still in the greenhouse waiting...God helps make my veggie patch grow. He provides everything I need.. It only fails if I do NOT do as He has told me!!
Imagine if Christianity spread like swine flu... how much better the world would be!! God Bless!0 -

Ok thanks. I was thinking of maybe trying the siberian kale outside but its freezing up here today and I've gone off the idea of the garden ...decided in favour of sitting at the fire knitting instead LOL!0

East Midlands here and my grass got cut recently too. Crocus and snowdrops are flowering and the daffs are growing.
I'll probably be sowing some of the hardier vegetables this weekend.0 -
Last year, I sowed turnips direct into the ground early March. I sowed peas at the weekend and planted the garlic out. Leeks are still growing on the windowsill. I think I probably planted them out April/May last year (wish I'd made a note:().I'm high, in UK zone 7b. Is there anything that go outside now ? I have seeds - siberian kale, flat turnips, leeks, endives, lettuce, and some herbs.0 -
Im in Cornwall been beautiful weather but even sheltered as we are still woken to frost most mornings, grass been cut but ground is bone dry like dust, ive just started off spring onions, lettuce and some hardy bedding plants but the snow drops are still going strong so nothing will move for a while yet, its all so drab even my camilia hasnt broken yet i cant remember the last time we started march without it in full bloom...its getting quite depressing0
