Whey not start with something slowish while you actually sign and then up the tempo a bit while people are getting the photographs etc? That way the ceremony isn't disturbed but the mood is lightened once you sign you life away

We had Apocalyptica's version of Nothing Else Matters, Coldplay - The Scientist, Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars for signing of the register I am sure you'll come up with something that suits you both it took us a while too! LOL
