Oh dear Gonzo - I agree with Billie - don't pay it off for her again. Have you sat down and gone through budgets etc with her so she can see why she can't keep spending?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Bun, I've got a tooth that's got a massive chip, it's one of my front teeth, so it's my snaggletooth, but the dentist says she'll sort it for me

Gonzo, if she can afford to pay it herself, let her. Otherwise she'll think "oh if I mess up, hubby will clear it up for me"** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Bunny - do you have any outlet villages near you? We are lucky in that we have a Clarks outlet shop a short distance away and I have never yet paid full price for the kids shoes - bought some just after half term for my oldest and they were £25 (size 4 - will be catching me up soon!!).
Appreciate may not be as cheap as ebay but at least you will be able to try them on your dd.0 -
Kids shoes are sooo expensive!0

bunny - I miss you too...you could come and look after me......
times like this I forget reality and think it would be nice to have my OH home so he could look after me, the reality is he would forget about me!
gonzo how old are the children, it seems as if your wife is using spending as a way to fill a void...I should know. Maybe its time for her to get a part time job...and I agree do not pay it off again.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
