Moving into a new home

Looking for some advice on where to start. Am shortly going to be moving into my first owned home. Obviously there will be gas an electric set up already - where should I start in terms of looking for new providers? Will I need to set up new accounts with existing providers? Its a new (ish) build so costs should be relatively low anyway but obviously want to make sure I get the best deal.
